Executive Chairman
Richard led the management buy-out of EV from Enterprise Plc in 2002, since when EV has grown significantly as a leading venture and growth capital fund manager. Initially, he was Managing Director of EV and became Executive Chairman in 2005. His early career was spent with NatWest Bank in the North West region.
Richard has been an investor in the regional venture capital sector since 1983 and as a leading practitioner is highly experienced in all aspects of venture and growth capital management. He has completed and exited many deals, fulfilled numerous Board appointments and led fund raisings to establish several new venture capital funds.
