The EV difference

EV is an energetic, expanding venture and growth capital management company, wholly owned by its executive management, with firm ideas about how it does business.

We invest at all stages of business: particularly management buy-outs, management buy-ins, development capital and high-growth early stage technology opportunities and we frequently invest in high quality start-ups with genuine commercial prospects.

Whilst we are concerned with the commerciality of any deal, we also carefully consider the ethical and environmental issues which apply to any investment we make on behalf of our investor clients.

Our aim is to attract the best quality investment proposals, improve performance and optimise returns, not only for our investor clients, but all concerned – management and employees, as well as the communities involved in the businesses we back.

Investing in and building any business often requires difficult decisions. That said, there are a number of ways decisions can go, depending on whether you are aiming for short-term returns at any cost or longer-term prosperity for all. We tend to favour the latter route as in our experience a successful business is never solely about the numbers.
