Fund Manager – North West Fund for Venture Capital
Richard joined EV in 2010 as Fund Manager for the £30million North West Fund for Venture Capital which provides support for entrepreneurs to build high growth companies in the form of risk capital for new and early-stage start-up companies located throughout the North West of England.
Previously with 3i and then founder of The Manchester Technology Fund, he has invested in over 50 companies in his 26 years as a venture capitalist and has been involved in private equity and venture capital in the North West since 1989.
Richard is also Chairman of the investment committee for EV’s technology funds and is an independent Non-Executive Director of three technology companies.
