EV Tech manages more than £30 million of funds specifically aimed at seed and early stage technology companies located throughout the UK. EV Tech has a portfolio of more than 60 investments across a diverse range of leading edge technology sectors.
Typically EV Tech provides funding of £30,000 to £2 million, in tranches and against target milestones, to technology companies that have the potential to grow quickly to exploit global market opportunities, that are able to illustrate substantial differential advantage and that have exceptional commercial prospects. Ultimately we are looking to develop unique, protected technology that will have a clearly defined value to a trade purchaser.
We understand that many of the best opportunities will not have fully developed their technology, application, management team, worldwide patent protection, route to market or have a clearly defined exit strategy in place so we will work closely with the business to develop all these areas during the life of our investment.
It is challenging and high risk, but as the companies that work with us have found, it can also be highly rewarding.
