EV Small Firms is able to consider businesses at all stages of their development from start-ups through to expansion finance to management buy-out opportunities.
A key part of EV’s Small Firms offering is Rosebud, managed on behalf of Lancashire County Council, which provides funding for SMEs located in or looking to relocate into the administrative County of Lancashire, to encourage businesses to grow and succeed.
Funding from Rosebud is available from £10,000 with flexible and competitively priced funding packages tailored to each company's individual requirements, using a number of funding methods, including loan capital, equity or a combination of both as appropriate. Whether an SME requires a £25,000 start up loan or £1million towards a funding package to support a management buy-out, Rosebud can consider offering investment.
Rosebud expects a commercial return on its investment and normally expects to invest alongside other funding providers, such as banks and the company's management.
Further information on Rosebud, its investment criteria and how to make an application for funding can be found by visiting the LCC website >
