Client relations
EV has an extensive track record of managing and administering investment funds for a wide range of clients and institutions from both the public and private sector. We have a wealth of experience in managing and investing ERDF and JEREMIE funds as well as managing capital on behalf of banks, pension funds, international investment houses and high net worth individuals.
Each fund under EV’s management follows a tailor-made, long-term investment strategy, formulated between EV and its clients, to meet specific objectives. As part of the investment management agreement, EV takes full responsibility for administering all aspects of the Fund and each investment, as well as ensuring all regulatory requirements are met.
EV invests for a financial return which is carefully targeted to reflect the specific risks identified in each individual transaction. Additional benefits may arise from particular investments and investor clients may also require specific outputs as part of their investment objectives – such as jobs created/protected, leverage and other economic or social regeneration benefits. Whilst the EV team will always assess and value these benefits in accordance with the management contract in place with our client, it will not invest unless an appropriate financial return can also be projected.
EV is almost always the deal leader, and it offers syndication opportunities to other fund managers, institutions and high net worth individuals, in appropriate circumstances.
EV has grown substantially in recent years. It seeks further specialist fund management mandates which build on its considerable experience in venture capital, growth and equity funding, loans and mezzanine lending.
